Joanna Lumley, a patron of Classics for All, was also on the show; and after it, in reply to the statement that she was a 'great fan of Latin', she said 'I am. I love it. I did it at school, at both O-level and A-level, and I'm a great supporter of this Classics for All thing, because apart from anything else it is the basis of our language and it gives you the basis of all the other Latin languages - French and Italian and Spanish - and it makes you understand- it carries - it's like a suitcase - it carries knowledge with it. It's beautiful. It's brilliant.'
